Our free roaming poultry is one layer of the ecosystem. The breeds include Aseel, Vanaraj and Grampriya.
They are left roaming in the fields, and eat Mulberry leaves and fruits with most liking. In addition, the soil, mixed with Cow compost is a host for many nutrients and insects. The large trees allow steady and cooler temperatures during summers and save from dew in winters.
Poultry and eggs coming from such ecosystem are fine in flavor and texture, high in proteins and fibre, vitamins A and E. They do not contain any antibiotics, or heavy metals.
